Objectives VDMA-Initiative Skilled Workers For Africa Africa is a growth market that is becoming increasingly important to the global economy. The technologies, products, and know-how of German mechanical engineering can make a significant contribution to the economic and industrial development of Africa. Well-trained skilled workers are essential for achieving this development. Together with local partners and organizations, we have initiated a unique competency-based technical vocational education and training initiative, which will enable practice and demand-oriented qualification of skilled workers. In this way, we support our member companies in their engagement in the African market and contribute to economic growth of the continent.
